The Indian delegation of the FICCI was warmly welcomed in Penang by the Penang based business chambers at the Indian Palace Restaurant for Dinner networking.
Dato Seri N Gobalakrishnan, Chairman of the ASEAN INDIA Business Council welcomed the delegation of the FICCI which comprised of various business leaders headed by Mr Sulabh Mathur from the Federation’s ASEAN division.
The President of the Penang Chinese Chamber of Commerce Dato Sri Choot, and the Vice President Dato Loh Eng Wee with Mr. David Chen Wool Teong also interacted with the delegation to express solidarity with the Indian delegation.
Mr. Shreekanth Sibastin the President of the India Kedah Chamber of Commerce and his team also interacted with the delegates and explained the proximity of Kedah state with Thailand.
The Indian team is having series of interactions in Penang before they head to the capital Kuala Kumpur to attend the ASEAN meeting.
The Indian Economic Trade Organization was represented by its President Dr. Asif Iqbal who interacted with various chambers for collaborations with their members who are expected to participate in the United Economic summit to be held in Klang region on November 23 this year.
