United Diplomatic Council – UDC

A high-level Malaysian delegation has arrived in Amaravati on a five-day official visit to explore opportunities for collaboration with the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The focus of the mission is on investment, socio-economic partnerships, and cultural exchange, signaling a renewed commitment to building stronger links between Malaysia and India.

The delegation is led by YB Tuan Ganapathirao Veeraman, Member of Parliament from the Klang constituency, along with Satish Rao Venkatesalam, Secretary of the Malaysia-Andhra Business Chamber of Commerce. Their arrival at Gannavaram Airport was marked with a traditional welcome by officials of the Capital Region Development Authority (CRDA), including senior representatives such as Additional Commissioner Amilineni Bhargav Teja, Director Vallabhaneni Srinivasa Rao, and other dignitaries.

During the course of the visit, the delegation will engage in discussions with government authorities and CRDA officials to explore possible cooperation in key areas including infrastructure development, trade partnerships, social welfare models, skill development, and cultural exchange programs. They will also tour prominent sites in the Amaravati Capital Region to better understand the state’s growth potential and emerging opportunities for collaboration.

The visit of Mr. Ganapathirao Veeraman is particularly significant. As a strong supporter of the United Economic Summit (UES) 2025, scheduled to take place on 23rd November 2025 at Wyndham Klang, Malaysia, his presence in India underlines the deepening of ties between the two regions.

Earlier this year, the United Development Council (UDC) delegation visited Malaysia and held detailed discussions with Mr. Veeraman to lay the groundwork for the summit. Just last week, another UDC team was in Malaysia to finalize preparations for the event. Now, his arrival in Andhra Pradesh marks the continuation of this growing partnership and reflects the shared vision for a stronger economic and cultural bridge between Malaysia and India.

Looking Ahead to UES 2025

The United Economic Summit 2025 in Klang will bring together policymakers, industry leaders, entrepreneurs, and business chambers from across Asia and beyond. It aims to foster dialogue on trade, investment, and cross-border partnerships while creating new opportunities for businesses to collaborate.

As part of this collaboration, UDC will soon hold a meeting in Andhra Pradesh to invite local businesses and stakeholders to join the summit in Klang. This will give Andhra-based enterprises a global platform to showcase their strengths and connect with international partners.

A Call to Participate

This partnership is set to be highly fruitful, boosting businesses and strengthening the economic ties between Malaysia and Andhra Pradesh. It also underscores the growing importance of people-to-people connections and the role of regional collaboration in driving global economic progress.

We warmly invite business leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders to join us at the United Economic Summit 2025 in Klang on 23rd November 2025.
