In a significant economic engagement, a high-level meeting was held between trade representatives of SME’s in India and Malaysia aimed at enhancing trade and commerce ties. The dialogue included prominent leaders from the Malaysian Chinese Association #MCA—a key component of Malaysia’s political landscape and a long-standing member of the country’s ruling coalitions—as well as a businessmen from India committed to strengthening regional partnerships with the establishing of the Honorary Trade Commissioner office in UAE by Santhosh Kumar and other trade representatives.
The meeting emphasized the shared cultural, historical, and economic ties between India, Malaysia, and the Malaysian Chinese community. Stakeholders from all sides exchanged detailed insights into current opportunities in sectors such as digital economy, infrastructure development, pharmaceuticals, palm oil trade, tourism, and education. Participation from the MCA in Kualalumpur and Member of Parliament of Klang Selangor was the highlight of the meeting.
